One squishy ball
Bouncy and
Squeezy.
About this run
A squishy ball can fit through a gap smaller than itself.
One soft ball bounces down the ramps, squeezes through a channel narrower than it is, rolls down a last ramp and lands in a pool of gel.
Watch the ball in the channel. It's wider than the gap, which is only about two thirds of its width, so it gets squeezed thin and stretches longer to make room. The stuff inside can't disappear, so when one side gets narrower another gets longer. Once it's through, it springs back to a round ball. The clock slows down here so you can see it happen.
Every bounce on a ramp says “blob”, a little lower each time. The squeeze goes “shloop” and the landing squishes. The pool takes the hit, dents and wobbles for a few seconds, and a few droplets pop up and fall back in (more in Why jelly wobbles). Turn the sound on. The ball and the pool are soft bodies computed live in your browser.
