Who is responsible
This site is operated by an individual based in Switzerland, reachable at hello@wobble-lab.com (see also the contact page). Applicable law includes the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP, revDSG), and the GDPR where visitors are in the EEA or the UK.
What the site itself collects
The site keeps its own visit statistics. It uses no third-party analytics service: a small script sends each record to this site's own server, which runs on Cloudflare. Every page loads that script except the Cookies page.

Nothing else from the simulations is sent: not where you drag, and not the colour, name or slider values you choose. Your mute choice for the squish sounds stays in your browser and is never sent to this site or anyone else. The time measurements are totals per page: they do not record where you scroll, which ad was shown or whether you clicked it. The site sets no cookie of its own, and there is no account system and no newsletter.
Purpose. Counting visits, seeing which pages and which sources (for example social media) bring visitors, how long pages are actually looked at, how long the advertising space is on screen, whether the experiments are actually used, how often an experiment has to switch to its simple version, and finding devices on which a simulation runs poorly. These statistics are not used to choose or personalise the ads you see, and they are not shared with Google or any advertiser.
Legal basis. Our legitimate interest in knowing how the site is used. You can object at any time by writing to the address above.
Retention. Individual records are deleted automatically 48 hours after they are made. Before that, a daily job adds each day's records into one daily summary: counts by event, page, source, country and city, the city coordinates used to draw a map, the number of distinct visitors, average performance figures, how long pages were visible and how long the advertising space was on screen (totals and counts per number of seconds, by page and by source), and how often each page switched to its simple version, by reason. The number of distinct visitors is computed from a one-way hash of the date, your IP address and your user-agent, and only the resulting count is stored. The daily summaries contain no IP address, user-agent or visit ID, and they are kept for as long as the site runs.
Access. Only the operator can read the records and summaries, through an interface protected by a secret key. Cloudflare stores them on the operator's behalf.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes connection data such as your IP address and user agent in order to deliver the page and protect the service. This processing is necessary for the site to function. Cloudflare also stores the visit statistics described above for the operator.
Advertising
The site displays advertising supplied by Google. Google and its partners may set cookies or read similar identifiers in order to serve and measure advertising. Where the law requires it, this happens only after you give consent in a banner supplied by Google, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time. The cookies page explains what is stored, for which purposes, for how long, and how to change your choice.
Fonts and scripts
Typefaces and the 3D library used by the simulations are served from this site's own domain, not from a third-party CDN. There are two exceptions. Pages that carry advertising load Google's advertising script, described above. The simple version of an experiment loads the GSAP animation library from cdnjs.cloudflare.com, a public code library run by Cloudflare, which then receives your IP address and browser details.
Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data relating to you, and you can object to the site's own statistics. Write to hello@wobble-lab.com. The individual records carry no name and are deleted after 48 hours, so it helps to give the approximate time of your visit. For data held by Google, use the tools and contact routes in Google's privacy policy. You can also complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or to the data protection authority in your country.
