About this chain
Bigger jellies wobble slower.
Seven jellies take turns down a zig-zag. Each one drops onto a bigger jelly that's asleep and wakes it up, and that one carries on down.
Watch the wobble after each landing. The small jellies shiver fast and the big ones sway slowly. It's the same jelly, only bigger: a wobble has further to travel round a big jelly, so each one takes longer. That's why a big jelly shakes slower than a small one (more in Why jelly wobbles). The clock also slows a little as the chain goes on, so you can watch the big ones land.
Every bump says “blob”, a little lower and slower each time, and the last one lands with a squish. Turn the sound on. Each jelly is a soft body computed live in your browser.
